Silicone Mask Spacer Aerosol Spacer Inhaler
The spacer is mainly used for children and patients with poor coordination of inhalation and hand movements, or patients with obvious local side effects in the throat after using MDl. Especially for inhaled corticosteroids, the use of a spacer significantly reduces the local and potentially systemic side effects of inhaled corticosteroids.
Instruction for Use:
1. Shake the MDl inhaler hard 10 to 15 times before each use, and attach the spacer to the inhaler.
2. Open the protective cover, install the mask (the scallop valve piece face upward), tighten the mask to the mouth and nose (or put the spacer between your teeth and close your lips tightly around it), and then breathe out gently to empty your lungs. Try to push out as much air as you can.
3. Keep your chin up.
4. Spray one puff into the spacer by pressing down on the inhaler and slowly breathing in.
5. Keep breathing in slowly, Breathe as deeply as you can. (Try to avoid the buzzer alarm caused by excessive intake airflow during inhalation)
6. Hold your breath for 5-10 seconds, this lets the medicine reach deep into your lungs.
7. Don't remove the spacer when exhaling. Continue to inhale slowly and deeply for the next time, each spray should be inhaled for 20-30 seconds.
8. According to the doctor's request about the amount of spray, wait for more than 30 seconds before repeating the above 3-7 inhalation steps.
